<br/><br/> Explains what anthrax is, describes the development of anthrax as a biological weapon during the First and Second World Wars and the Cold War, and outlines the BWC which was designed to end the development, stockpiling or use of biological weapons. The article then looks at serious interest in anthrax by terrorist groups, and finally discusses the anthrax attacks in the USA which appear to have been the work of a disgruntled laboratory scientist who later committed suicide.
