<br/><br/> Looks at the fragility of Najib's political position as Prime Minister.  His sudden zeal in reforms has implied that this may be a sign of desperation in which he may be doing in vain.  The challenges that he faces include being leader of a badly-lost political party (UMNO) which has lost its popularity especially among the young voters, a troubled economy and the enmity between UMNO and Anwar Ibrahim's party which has remain unsettled.
