<br/><br/> F-35 was now favourite for the Japanese competition.  The stealth capabilities its share with the F-22 and also of the flexible stance.  Now Japanese military experts think the F-35 is likely to emerge as the leading candidate to replace its ageing fleet of around 90 F-4EJ fighters.
