<br/><br/> Review of the capabilities of the RMAF's new Sukhoi multi-purpose strike fighter, all 18 of which had been delivered by end 2008. (The SU-30 is described as the best non-Western made fighter available). The aircraft will pose problems for Malaysia because it now has three different different modern fighter aircraft. It is expected to be several years before the SU-30s reach full capability. Cooperation with India (training, exercises, weapons) is expected as the latter has similar aircraft.
