<br/><br/> Acts of piracy and kidnapping are a growing problem in the waters off north east Africa. This short report with photographs describes the problem and outlines counter measures - such as the Combined Task Forces of Combined Maritime Forces which bring together over 20 national navies - intended to deal with terrorism, piracy, illegal trafficking in people and drugs, and to maintain a safe maritime environment.
