Reports on research to identify whether and how attitudes among Australian military personnel have changed since 9-11. Finds that professional orientation among other ranks is more pragmatic and more professional, whereas officers have become more professional and less pragmatic. Also found that development and adventure were less important for all categories. Considers the reasons for and implications of these changes.
