<br/><br/> Suggests that in support of its grand strategy  China is using soft power in three distinct ways: transmission of Chinese culture, leadership in the developing world, and by reassuring those states that perceive a rising China as a threat that China is a responsible international power. The article suggests avenues for further research on the efficacy of China's soft power strategies.
