Restoring EU-OSCE cooperation for pan-European conflict prevention /

There is a long history of cooperation between the European Union and the Organsiation for Security Cooperation in Europe which has contributed to the prevention of conflict and the promotion of economic stability in Southeast Europe. However this cooperation has in recent years become less important for the EU. The article argues that politically the EU favours engagement with the UN over the OSCE, suggests that this is a mistake, and calls for the EU to renew efforts to cooperate with the OSCE.
