In: Jane's Terrorism and Security Monitor January 2008, pp.2-4Summary: This report claims that al-Qaeda inspired Jihadists constitute a growing threat emanating from Pakistan, Somalia and parts of North Africa, with Europe being a particular target. However the bombing and killing of Muslims by the extremists has been widely criticised and may have helped reduce support for Jihadists in Iraq.
