They fled to neighbouring country, Bangladesh, in hope for refuge but are being repatriated due to overpopulation and land scarcity. Most have settled in unofficial refugee camps across the Myanmar-Bangladeshi border. However, there are some signs that the Bangladeshi government may have plans to move the Rohingyas to a drier and more permanent location.
