Personal recollections of the Brunei Rebellion and its impact on Brunei's people by HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. At the time of the rebellion the prince, aged 15, was returning from school in Kuala Lumpur to Brunei with his brother the present Sultan. Presented in straightforward prose the book shows how the leadership of the PRB political party took advantage of the international decolonialisation process to try to gain power in or even over Brunei. The damage done by the rebellion to Brunei's internal cohesion and peaceful development are particularly noted.
