Kaizen is the process of continuous improvement that made Japanese industry so successful. Ironically Japan's the first steps in the process were learned from American industry in the 1950s. The book contains numerous examples of Kaizen in action not just in manufacturing but also in management and corporate culture. Appendices contain checklists plus a case study of Kaizen in Canon.
