ARRANGEMENT AND COVERAGE:Divided into 4 main sections relating to C4I activity: Command Information systems; Communication systems; Intelligence systems; and Computing. The latter section covers display screens, terminals, computers and workstations, ruggedised equipment including PDAs and laptop PCs, software such as GIS, command and control, fire control, wireless gateways, and message teminals. The first 2 sections are sub-divided into: Jonit; Land; Maritime; Air. The Intelligence systems section covers suerveillance and reconnaissance, direction finding, analysis and support, signals intelligence, and imagery intelligence. Within each subject section, entries are arranged alphabetically within country of origin. Entries include description of the system or equipment, development details, operational status and technical specification. Photos and diagrams are included where appropriate. A list of contractor's contact details, and indexes by manufacturer's name and by product name or number are included. Radar frequency and wavlength tables, and AN codes (MIL-STD-196E) are given on page 7 of the introduction.
