Account of the emergency relief assistance provided by the Singapore armed forces to help those in Meulaboh, Aceh and Phuket, Thailand that were affected by the devastating tsunami of 26th December 2004. The book is written by the defence correspondent of the Straits Times who accompanied the Singapore relief teams. This was the largest operation the SAF had ever mounted involving 1500 personnel, 3 LSTs, 12 helicopters and 8 transport aircraft. The text is accompanied by numerous colour photographs.
