In this final column in the current series on emitter location, the article deal with the location accuracy provided by a frequency-difference-of-arrival (FDOA) emitter-location system. FDOA-system accuracy is considered in terms of the location circular-error probable (CEP) or elliptical-error probable (EEP). Like angle of arrival (ADA) and TDOA, the accuracy calculations are based on the assumption that many independent measurements are taken.
