This article investigates and reviews how killing has become so effortless, and demonstrates why military ethics must continue to develop to ensure that killing is done only when it ought to be done. It also aims to explain why military ethics must be given a central position in military systems, and how detrimental it would be for military ethics to continue to be depreciated and disregarded by military leaders.
