The world is faced with the danger posed by the changes in how ecosystems function, the disruptions to the process of evolution itself. Even slight changes in the temperature will risk damagesto ecosystems and changes to ocean chemistry. Localised extinction is a real risk. Ultimately, both climate change and biodiversity loss will alter the composition of life as we know it.
