To identify the determinants of military expenditures of NATO countries, the paper have used quantified economic, security, and political risks. The paper investigated quantified determinants of military expenditure in NATO countries from 2001 to 2017, identifying disparities in the development of the determinants for 'traditional' and 'new' member countries, as shown by the two groups of countries obtained as a result of the multidimensional classification model.
