Comprehensive account of UNFICYP, the UN peacekeeping force and its operations in Cyprus from 1972 to 1974. In addition to coping with Turkey's invasion of Cyprus, the peacekeepers also found themselves unexpectedly deployed to Egypt during the Yom Kippur War in 1973. The author Brigadier Francis Henn was Chief of Staff of the UN force in Cyprus as well as Commander of the British contingent there.
