COVERAGE AND ARRANGEMENT:Divided into 6 main sections: Armoured engineer vehicles; recovery vehicles and equipment; bridging systems; mine warfare equipment; transport equipment; and miscellaneous equipment. Each main section is further sub-divided by type of vehicle or equipment: Armoured engineer vehicles includes armoured recovery vehicles, armoured repair vehicles, recovery vehicles and recovery equipment; Bridging systems includes: mechanised bridges, tactical floating bridges and ferries, tactical non-floating and line of communication bridges, and bridging boats; Mine warfare equipment includes: minelaying equipment, mine detection equipment, mineclearing equipment, and minefield marking equipment; Transport equipment includes: lightweight vehicles, special attack vehicles, trucks, tank transporters, amphibians, tracked prime movers, cargo carriers and armoured logistic vehicles, over-snow vehicles, trailers, and materials handling equipment; Miscellaneous equipment includes: Field fortifications and related emplacements equipment, bulk fuel storage and distribution systems, water supplies, camouflage equipment and decoys, portable roadways, rapid runway repair equipment and portable runways, shelters and containers, and vehicle bodies. All entries provide the history of development and, in some cases, contract and associated details relating to the equipment or vehicle. The description provides the technical details, including main variants where applicable, while the specification table provides the main data for each entry. The current status of the equipment or vehicle and an indication of the manufacturer, where known, is also provided. Also includes national inventories, a manufacturers index, and an alphabetical index by product and country of origin.
