(102)Summary: Reports a study of the economic relationship between China and its surrounding economies using informartion about trade, FDI, and vertically integrated production networks. Concerns have tended to be that China threatened other Asian economies a) by crowdiing them out of world markets, and b) by depriving them of FDI. Concludes that these concerns were over-stated, and describes how other Asian economies have in fact benefitted from the rise of China.
