This article examines the policies and procedures of USAF aerial bombing during the Korean War. Initially the policy was precision bombing of military targets only which was intended to protect civilians and increase air operation effectiveness. Subsequently when China entered the war towns and villages were also targeted and incendiary bombs were used.
