The Japanese ambassador to Berlin sent detailed reports to the government of Japan throughout World War 2. The code used for these communications was broken by the American in 1940 and the intelligence information derived from this source was called MAGIC. This book describes how the intelligence was gathered, its enormous value to the Allies, and the uses to which it was put.
