ARRANGEMENT AND COVERAGE:Divided into 4 main sections relating to C4I activity: Command Information systems; Communication networks; Intelligence gathering systems; and Computing. The latter section details hardware, software and networks for diverse C4I activities and includes command and control, artificial intelligence, Office management, GIS, and ruggedised harware. The first 3 sections are sub-divided into: Multiservice; Land-based; Naval; and Air Force. The Intelligence gathering section also has headings for direction-finding and electronic warfare. Within each subject section, entries are arranged alphabetically within country of origin. Entries include description of the system or equipment, development details, operational status and technical specification. Photos and diagrams are included where appropriate. A list of contractor's contact details, and indexes by manufacturer's name and by product name or number are included. Radar frequency and wavlength table, and AN codes (MIL-STD-196) are given on page 8.
