Summary: This report confirms that the UK Government 'sees PFI continuing to play a small but important role in the overall objective of delivering modernised public services'. The report is based on a survey of more than 500 operational projects. Findings are favourable for user satisfaction, project performance, appropriateness of services, and found that incentivisation works. Also includes recommendations for further strengthening of PFI partnerships.
