COVERAGE:Bi-annual reference work which provides selective details of British defence equipment and its suppliers and of advisory and operational services available in Britain. Entries are provided by the manufacturers and service suppliers themselves - so may not always be impartial.ARRANGEMENT:The catalogue comprises 2 volumes. Volume 1 provides the detailed descriptions of products and services arranged into 62 Sections, which group products and services by function. Sections 1 - 50 cover products; sections 51 - 62 cover services. Volume 2 contains - a detailed products and services index (to entries in Volume 1) arranged alphabetically by product and service in one sequence; - a company index arranged alphabetically by company name. Each entry provides company name, address, fax, e-mail and internet address (as available), outlines types of products or services detailed fully in Volume1, page numbers of Vol 1 entries and a brief description of other products and/or services which are NOT included in the Catalogue. - a Trade Names index arranged alphabetically by Trade name, which gives a product definition for each trade name, who the manufacturer is and page numbers for detailed Vol 1 entries. - an Abbreviations index which provides definitions, arranged in alphabetical order. These are abbreviations commonly used in the defence industry. - a Page Index which lists in page number sequence the companies whose entries appear in Volume 1 i.e. shows which companies are grouped under each section.
