Summary, etc. The Pakistan muslim league (Nawaz) or PML-N headed by an other former prime minister Nawaz Shariff fell apart. 60 senior judges sacked by President Pervez Musharaf during martial law last year. The stumbling block is the so-called judges issue. Mr Shariff's party insists that the judges removed by Mr Musharraf should be restored by an executive order based on a parliamentary resolution. At the moment most Pakistanis want the coalition to survive in order to address pressing issues such as inflation, unemployment, power shortages and capital flight.
