North Korea shuts down nuclear reactor/ Christian Le Miere - 2007
The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed that North Korea has shut down its Yongbyon nuclear power plant along with four other nuclear sites. The shutdown shows a dramatic sign of a quickening in the pace of the six-party 13 February agreement to denuclearise the Korean peninsula, although obstacles still remain.
