Australia and Indonesia sign new security agreement / John B Haseman - 2006
General report on the Indonesia and Australia Framework for Security Cooperation agreement signed by both parties on 13 November 2006 at Lombok. The agreement which covers both defence and security including maritime law, poaching, immigration, counterterrorism, and disaster relief, has to be ratified by the parliaments of both countries before it becomes a formal bilateral treaty.
