There are some important implications from the analysis, first of all while creeping guojiahua (statification or nationalization) appears irreversible in coming years the process will not be a smooth one. Second China's civil military relations are evolving. Third although creeping guojiahua may prove difficult in the short and mid term, in the long run it may augur well for political change in China.
