State strategy in territorial conflict: a conceptual analysis of China's strategy in the South China Sea/ Andrew Taffer - 2015

Using China's claim on the South China Sea as a case study and based on a state strategy conceptual framework, the author argues that the strategies outlined in this framework are not to be regarded as mutually exclusive to each other. It further examine the Scarborough Shoal incident to demonstrate his findings.
