The North Korea problem: dealing with irrationality/ Bruce Cumings - 2009

Analyses the relationship between United States and North Korea in which it has always been predicted that the latter will collapse eventually. It argues that through the years, the collapse of North Korea never happened. It goes on to further suggests that in order to persuade North Korea to give up its nuclear program, there must be an agreement where the U.S. should make a pledge not to use nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula, that relations should be normalised and this might convince North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons and missiles.
