The 'demand-side': avoiding a nuclear-armed Iran / Bradley L Bowman - 2008

Iran, like other countries, has a legitimate need for security and international respect. Events in the last thirty years have convinced Iran that this can only be achieved by possession of nuclear weapons. This paper suggests that US policy towards Iran should reflect Iran's concerns and show that prestige and security can be achieved without nuclear weapons.
