Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej declared a state of emergency in Bangkok on 2nd September after pro-government and supporter and opponents clashes and strikes hit the Thai capital. Despite effort for it to remain bloodless, this has resulted in one death and several numbers injured. This article gives a brief overview on the status of this political clash.
